My philosophy is that I will either find you the materials cheaper than anywhere else or I will redirect you to another retailer who sells the best materials for the best price (i.e. ones that I buy from)

This is a list of the materials that I use and heartily recommend. As I use these materials I can also supply you with them.

Booby Eyes

High density plastazote ( ethafoam) in cylindrical shapes. Each piece will make four eyes. Ideal for tying Booby Eyes and floating patterns. Much more effective than the usual Poly Balls. Each packet contains 20 pieces so enough for 40 flies.

Tungsten Scud Bodies (Bidoz Bodies)

High quality tungsten scud bodies (also known as bidoz bodies). Theses bodies can be tied in on top of the shank or slightly round the bend, bedded down on a layer of thread and epoxy or superglue. The ribs on the body are beautifully pronounced for an authentic segmented look. Use them bare or tie and dub over them - fantastic!

Tungsten Tubes

Superb quality tungsten tubes for tying fast sinking tube flies.
These superb tubes measure 3mm O.D; 1.8mm I.D and are either 6mm (0.25 inch), 13mm (0.5 inch), 20mm (0.75 inch) or 26mm in length (1 inch ). They have a high quality finish with smooth edges to the hole.

Damsel Eye Beads

Plastic beads for making realistic damsel eyes. Just take a small piece of monofilament and thread two beads onto it then heat the two ends with a lighter to prevent the beads from falling off and you have made a super realistic pair of damsel fly nymph eyes.
